To misquote certain great Royalty: “2009 is not a year on which I shall look back with undiluted pleasure. In the words of one of my more sympathetic correspondents, it has turned out to be an Annus Horribilis”. Queen Elizabeth II was referring to 1993 at the time, but it applies equally to 2009 in my opinion! Yes, it has been long, hard year for so many of us - locally and internationally – making it high time for one of our famous big party bashes, and there can be no better place to celebrate the 2010 New Year than Villa Belmonte!
